What’s on this blog

If you haven’t browsed around too much on this site, you may not have noticed us lurking in the background and updating some sections. Below is a quick overview of what we have on this site.

The Patient Materials page has PDF versions of our print publications for patients, including the latest copy of our newsletter ‘Postmenopausal Health Overview’ and more information on how you can obtain your copy of our booklet ‘The Osteoporosis Exercise Guide.’ We are always developing new resources for patients and other health professionals so we will continue to update this page.

Also, be sure to check out the Osteoporosis Information page, where you can find information on what osteoporosis is and how to prevent, treat, and manage it. There are a number of patient advocacy organizations that also publish patient education brochures and pamphlets so if you are looking for more information on any of the topics we have written about, please go through the links under ‘Resources’ (in the right column on the Home page) and you should be able to find what you are looking for. Osteoporosis Canada is always a go-to organization for us when we need to offer information to our patients and research participants so please be sure to look through their website. In the event that you cannot find the information you are looking for, please send us an email at osteoporosis at uhn dot com and we will try to locate the information for you.

Last, but not least, our Research page highlights our research program and we will add more information on our ongoing research studies. If you are interested in participating in a research study, please look through the recruitment section to see if we are currently recruiting for any studies. If you feel you are eligible to participate, please contact the study coordinator for more details.

Feel free to comment if there’s anything here that you would like to see. We are always open to comments and suggestions on how to improve this space and bring you more benefit!
